Amazing tribal house that still sounds fresh 20 years later. I heard Kerri Chandler open with this record back in 2002. He murdered the dance floor with it; unfortunately it was a white label. Took me 9 years to figure out that it was No Smoke.

One of my all time favourite tunes koro koro classic tribal drums which still sound as good today as they did then.and the tribal chanting which flows effortlessly just tops the tune off. 89 what an era

For me this track defined the warehouse sound of London in 1989. I can remember these tribal percussive rhythms through the smoke and the haze at a party somewhere on the outskirts of London. The ultra funky bassline bouncing off the walls keeping everything tight & locked in. The african sounding chants are also wicked, and flip me onto a spiritual tip for the duration of the track. I would place this in my house top 10 because it's so original and timeless.
