If you're like me, you're wondering what the difference is between Scott's version and the original. The answer: Not much. I'd say "re-edit" or "version" is a better title than "remix". Scott's Pather version has an extra bassline element and some synth work. The added synths are barely noticeable. If you were to play the original mix into Scott's mix in a club it would sound like a 20 a minute version of the Journey. Someone who'd never heard the track before would not know it was 2 different versions. Scott's version is 8:32 in duration while Norm's is about 10 minutes. The main hook of the track, which is the classic disco/tribal drum loop remains from the original. I would conclude that if you really like the original mix, this is also worth having, but if you're not truly interested in the original, or just find it to be average, this version is not going to make you any more excited. The B-side beats version is almost identical to Norm's original mix. I also dont see the point of putting 8 minute tracks on a 10" vinyl. I dont ever see a purpose to using 10". DJ's dont like to throw them in a club and the grooves are almost always more shallow than a 12". So really what's the point since the 10's cost just as much as a 12 if not more.

Love it! I wish this were a 12"; I still have to pay the same twelve-inch price to ship this from Juno.uk to the US. <<< Bullshit
