An album that is close to perfection. Some of the best storytelling ever on any Rap recording. 25 trax and nearly all of them are dope . After many years i listened to all 6 sides of Life After Death this afternoon afain. Most Tunes sound fantastic. You can hear that it was a pleasure and an honour for the involved artists to be a part of the recording process, be it productionwise or as Co-rapper. Jay-Z & Angela Winbush bring such decent additional vocals few to their duet, that "Where's The Dough" ends up as one of the best trax from both this Double Album. There are a couple hardcore beats on this album, that rank among the best to ever apper on an East Coasr album. Niggas Bleed, Got A Story To Tell, Kick In The Door, 10 Crack Commandements for example. The feature from Bone, Thughs 'n Harmony is asonoshing good as well. There are only a few interludes i don't like and The California Ode "Goin' Back To 'Cali" doesn't satsisfy me completely. The G-Funk Clichèe used from "California Love" as Sample just doesn't fit with the rest of the album and after all California wasn't the best place for Biggie Smalls to be at, as he had to learn the saddest way just a few weeks after he finished this masterpiece of an album and got shot in the streets of LA after a Show
