It’s Alright, I Feel It! continues the same disco-jazz-funk fusion from Nuyorican Soul’s album. This time, however, Jocelyn Brown provides the vocals -- and you can hear the strains of gospel in her voice. Though the track isn’t as strong as Runaway, it’s still a powerhouse track. The Masters at Work mix adds the 4-to-the-floor beat and harmonious chords that made them house legends. Armand Van Helden delivers though a stripped-down version that doesn’t get going until halfway through. Of more interest is the Roni Size mix, which credibly fuses the piano jazz-funk and Jocelyn’s vocals with a rolling drumline (though at 13 minutes, it could try your patience). The Mood II Swing put warmth into their house mix, and it’s probably the best bet for the floor.
