Notes

A "virtual" opera featuring a wide array of electronics, acoustic instruments, female vocalists, whispers, staticky noise rock and a dark libretto woven into a surreal sound sculpture.

I recently picked up a copy of Oblivion Ensemble Nightmare Sinistrotorse, a very unique CD combining many different styles of music. Doing a google search, I found their myspace.com site and listened to their upcoming album on Malignant Records Seraphim Hallucino. I think this stands out from the multitude of other "experimental" releases because it sounds like nothing else out there. A lot of acoustic percussion, bell and cymbal sounds mixed with crawling electronic noises. Some vocals, and some more rock-oriented pieces. A nice listen.
