A track of pure sublime beauty...I'm talking about the Magic Juan Mix. Ethereal, spiritual, and ultimately uplifting. The sensual, hypnotic vocals of Lisa Newberry, combined with the intricate atmospherics, haunting pads and rolling bassline, make this an extremely accomplished and unique production, especially for the time.
Listen to it with your eyes closed, and lose yourself in emotion. Wait for the stuttered vocal effects about 2 minutes in. It sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it. Absolutely timeless.

Another bit of rare Transmat. One mix of this made it on to the "Techno 2" compilation on 10 Records, notable for Psyche's "Elements", which at the time didn't get a conventional release elsewhere. However it's Magic Juan's mix which is the one you want, not the original himself. You could think: Timbaland. It's got rolling synthsoul bassline, bossa percussion and, whoa, what basslines these record have! Very well produced. This is elegantly and stylish. Unfortunately this one got never repressed on Transmat. Worth diggin for this one.
Detroit techno by the master. Very difficult to obtain due to Transmat's removal of this record from their back-catalogue. Magic Juan Mix is moody, atmospheric, and terrible to dance to, but great nonetheless...
