I find it odd to see such low ratings for this record. The two spoken word passages are fucking great and, in my view, pretty much sum up the whole concept of music scenes...
"I hate this party man, this dj sucks, where's my ride man? I'm gonna go home listen to, I don't know... fucking Beastie Boys" bitch bitch bitch, etc etc.
And the other tracks are great for layering in and transforming some screeching high-end over your mixes.
Five track 12" out of San Francisco that certainly lives up to the 'noize' part of its name. Resembing an odd cross between power electronics and electro, this takes the broken beats and abrasion of labels like Amputate and sets them at a slower tempo. If anything this serves to make it sound more grinding and malicious.
The last track on the record is a phenomenal spoken word rant about parties that suck, drugs that suck, music that sucks, djs that suck... you get my point. In your face abrasion, and the guy pulls off an impressive live set as well.
