Notes

The liner notes include surreal collage art, and a statement about the U.K. solar failure, with a link to Greenpeace in the U.K. Also in the notes is a bit about Greenpeace's portable solar generator, "Cyrus," which was the sole source of electricity for "The Girl With The Sun In Her Head." That track is dedicated to the memory of Sally Harding.

The first 30,000 copies sold in the US had this catalog number and bonus disc. The bonus disc tracks aren't listed on the cover, but on the CD only. Another US-only 2CD edition was subsequently released with a different bonus disc.

The 2nd disc is great, I was not expecting to find it in a record shop but found it used. If you like "The Box", the 28 minute version of the track is for you, there are four versions of The Box and the best is saved for last. It is the Vocal version of the song and its worth the digging and purchase of the 2 disc set. Overall, a very well balanced set of tracks and you even get some break beats from Orbital, weird.

I can only describe my life in two half's the one before I ran into "In-sides" and the half after it. For lack of a better praise this album is an absolute masterpiece! If ever a starting point to start from its this album. "The girl with the sun in her head" and "out there somewhere?" will put you to tears. The bonus CD is just as good as the first one. This album will change your life, guaranteed or your life back!

Dwr budr has the perfect melodic transition from a sort of sad, melodic tune into a slightly more angry, spooky, trance. Petrol was my first love of techno from the wipeout xl soundtrack. The girl with the sun in her head is maybe my current fav, despite its length. The box part 2 was actually the first one I heard and thought was cool. It was on an MTV amp compilation, among other things. Part 1 is actually a drag to listen to, but it enhances part 2. The whole album does not have a flaw. Sad but new, and the flying times are also very entertaining. I think the artwork is the least favorable of the entire package, but thats about the only criticism I could give here.
