After long talks on the internet she finally agreed to meet in real life. Eye contact was made. A simple kiss exchanged deep emotions, awoke peace of mind, confusion and love. People on the streets noticed and looked in awe. It's your love. Impressed, in a different city a moonlight rendezvous occured. She said she want me. She said i know what i want.
Some days later the cavities of life reached out. Enough with that! Let me be what i wanna be. Suddenly she was gone. Was she running from his love? Gone? Back to earth, yet luckily there are the sunrays.
Project produced by James Stinson about a love born which prematurely ended. James died exactly one year after the release. Rest in peace my friend.
I purchased this album during a visit to london in 2001; didn't even listen to it in the store (smallfish)... the guy at the front counter just told me to get it, in his eyes it was the album of the year. Man, that seems like such a long time ago!
I of course began to play it, and while the music was incredible, the vocals really got on my nerves. But, the more I listened I saw how well they actually fit in with the music and completed the tracks. There are a couple without vocals as well (sunrays, midnight rondevous). Anyways, after 7 years of having this album I still listen to it often. Stinson created a certain magic with his analogue; you really get the impression that the gear was an extension of him. He was able to take what would normally be cold and mechanical and turn it into warm, emotional, human compositions that still inspire me to this day.
The LP is well worn at this point, but thanks to the world of FLAC digital downloads I will have it forever preserved in pristine quality. This, like most of Stinson's work, has a timeless quality that will make it sound fresh for years and years.

This terrific album from the Storm series just has 'it'. The first time I listened to this album it didn't mean anything more to me than just a good chillout album. But after hearing it over and over for about a year now, I know I was terribly wrong. Nowadays this album is one of my alltime favorites. It is great music to listen by yourself, you can find inner rest and peace...it calmes you known and gives a great feeling inside if you let it..
The great depth and ongoing warm soul vibe of this record are anything but standard in electronic music, it is magical. The tracks create a specific mood, a mood no other album has provided in my eyes.
It sounds very different from the other Drexciya and Drexciya related albums. No longer the dark, aquatic or aggresive sound but a sound that is warmer and moodier than ever. Some of the tracks contain vocals, in the first track I believe it's the voice of James himself. These vocals are definately contribute alot to this release, they are very well timed and fit in perfectly.
My personal favorite track of the album would have to be; Running From Love. Moonlight Rendezvous, Let Me Be Me and Sunrays are just as good to be honest.
I give this album 5/5 and then some..buy it, tou won't be disappointed.
Anything Drexciya related always is quality. I'm definitely feeling the mood of this release. The mighty force that is Drexciya has once again proved to us how versatile it can be without losing its soul.
Other People Place is rumoured to be one half of the mighty Drexciya. This record is a must for lovers of electro and all things drexciya, with tracks like 'Moonlight Rendezvous', 'You Said You Want Me' and the brilliant 'Let Me Be Me'.
