Thank Diepvries for re-releasing this rare gem. I have to admit that I've never heard of this obscure song before it got released again on Flexx. I was just blown away the first time I played it. This is original in every possible way: multiracial, addictive, hypnotic, ritualistic, danceable... The weird voice works like a drug, combine it with the afro-like rhythm and melody and you get this fantastic mind trip. This is really deep stuff. Is it disco? Is it afro? Is it - I dare to say - experimental? You just can't put this gem in any category, unique in every way. It's unbelievable that this was made in 1976.
