Tresor ambassador Pacou drops a bomb EP here, 2 different approaches on each side: A-side was recorded using digital software exclusively, while the flip was created with a variety of old skool synths & drum machines. This was done to "illustrate that only the artist with their creativity has the potential to innovate, independant of which means are used." [except taken from one sheet].
The A-side "All It Takes" is my fave and an outstanding effort, showing his dubby techno / basic channel influences, yet keeping it driving and rolling. Hypnotic and addictive groove. The B-side "It's Time" is also a great effort, more on the Detroit tip, with stabbing synths, shuffling percussion that constantly evolves to maintain quality dance floor asthetics. Great effort Pacou, keep this shizzle rollin... u guy! :) 5/5
