I've been trying to keep track of Kne' Deep's output since picking up Mark Verbos's phenomenally hard release on the label about a year ago. This one, by South London's Paul Langley is nice, but doesn't grab me as hard. The tracks on the a-side remind me a little of some of Neil Landstrumm's old Peace Frog records, with vocal samples buried under heavy beats. B-side is a little more interesting, but overall it lacks a bit of the punch I was hoping for.
