Yes def; in Vienna a bit underrated that time, like the most genius stuff here. I was in my high techno electronic experience that years but this album was an exception. It brings me a lot of energy and personally help to clear some things in my life. I also notice that "Who Am I" is a song by Nina Simone which should not narrow this milestone Album and the version. This is the pure personally side of Peter Kruder and i guess the next Album is a work of art again. This is the timeless music and yes indeed we need a Peace Orchestra for the next generations.

As the less prolific half of Kruder and Dorfmeister, Peter Kruder's Peace Orchestra makes you half wish that Dorfmeister would be a little more careful about his quality control. The low and slow beats of "The Man, Pt. I" set the mood immediately: mysterious and filled with film noir. "Meister Petz" brings up the BPMs slightly, but retains the atmosphere. The dark soul of "Domination" is a welcome respite from the substandard R&B that overtaken much of the downtempo world. Similarly, the deep rumbles of "Marakesh" bring to life the Middle Eastern funk, and the shambling vocals on "Who Am I" brings to mind MEZZANINE-era Massive Attack. But the star on the album is definitely "Shining," which melds a wistful melody with odd, moody vocals and a reverberating bass drum. A deep, fascinating album.

P. Kruder's solo stuff. Lots of lo-fi beats with contrabass and electric piano. Less stylistically rigid than the Kruder and Dorfmeister stuff i've heard. Very soundtrack-ey. Lots of ambience on the tracks. Heavy use of envelope-driven filters on instruments. Tracks have lots of negative space. Like a summer night with moonlight glistening on a calm lake.

I don't understand why I haven't heard anything about this album before. Domination in particular is mind elevating.
One of the best albums I have come along. Check this out for sure and share the experience!!
