I actually think that this album is some of Mike Pattons poorest material. It's nothing compared to the Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, Tomahawk or solo projects of General Patton. This is supposed to be his pop album, but Mike Patton isn't a pop artist, he's an experimental avantgarde artist who's supposed to make really good music nobody's ever heard before. And we've heard all this before.

excellent album by one of music's most ingenius artists. Mike Patton certainly knows how blend hip hop, trip hop, and a myriad of other genres with his endless bag of vocal tricks into a fun yet musically inventive and rewarding pop record. a must listen for anyone, whether it be your average radio listener or an avant garde music expert.
