Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by Escapist Jan 18, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Another gem in the ambient crown of electronica.

This could've been redundant or borish considering it was a double disc but Simeon's creativity shines through from alpha to omega. It's a vibrant, lush collection of ambient tracks that softly nestle themselves in your mind. It's hard to describe at times but these tracks float and flow like very few ambient albums do.

Very few musicians acheive such affection in their music. This is the perfect example of electronica done with the greatest care and talent.

It just might be the music you hear in heaven (unless youre athiest) or on the way there. Ambient perfection.

Double artist albums that are actually listenable all the way through aren't exactly commonplace, but this is a rare exception. A wonderful gem, this, with Simeon's characteristic strings and and an "uplifting melancholia"-type atmosphere that makes this an IDM classic. A warm, inviting and unashamedly melodic album. Much better than his A1 People efforts.
