"West End - Sunglasses" is an odd mash-up, 1984-style. ZYX combined "West End Girls" with an anonymous cover of Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night". One would assume this version of "Sunglasses" was performed specifically for this medley. The singer has a German accent, but no other details are available. The sleeve, with the drawn-on sunglasses, is priceless...
So, why the heck did I even buy this record?
The answer is to be found if you flip the record over.
Here you find a pumping Hi-NRG kind of rework of one of my favourite early PSB-songs One More Chance. Naturally it all sounds very dated but I still like the cheesy overall feeling of the B-side even if it doesn't make up for the bad A-side.
