Reviews & Discussion

In 1993, just one year after 'Rise From Your Grave' was released on Strictly Rhythm and on R & S Records, Renaat Vandepapelière put out some remixes of it on his Belgian label, this time on a 12 inch format.

These versions were different from the ones on the original pressing. Morley's Universe Mix, made by the brilliant David Morley deserves the higher credits, for it put this magnificent tune a step further - with futuristic effects & changings, specially on the opening, making of it a ground-breaking Techno-House combination. Suddenly, an amazing House masterpiece was turned into high-quality Techno.

The Morley's Universe Mix was included on the same year of 1993 on In Order To Dance 4 2LP/1CD second release compilation (different from the first one of 5LP/2CD of 1992 that had the Wild Pitch Mix by DJ Pierre).

Phunky House-Techno from the originator of the term 'Acid music"
