If you're a Pimmon fan, or have just a few of Mr. Gough's recent releases, "Curse Of Evil Clown" would be a worthy addition to your collection. However, it'll be worth your while to track down a copy since this is a very limited edtion 3" CD from the Australian based label Meupe. The first and second tracks are of the droneing type with minimal glitches, and the third track, "Zero Gravity", is a more playful type soundscape; as oppossed to the recent trends in dark and heavy drones from Black Boned Angel, or SunnO))), which are much more grimm and doom oriented in style. This is one Pimmon new release I would recommend to any electronic fan of today.
I haven't heard any material from Pimmon for quite some time so it's lovely to hear this wonderful little EP on Australian label Meupe. Coming on a 3" CD it features 3 delectable tracks that sit at the more experimental end of the Electronica spectrum. Using a collection of sample sources he delivers 2 gorgeous drone tracks, one dense and layered and one very bass tone orientated plus one more perky and lively piece that's got just the right level of noise to keep your ears firmly engaged but not too much so as to scare them. Another label and artist that are firmly ensconced in bringing you quality electronic sounds... highly recommended.
