Cardinal point in Hawtin's carreer. Probably the highlight, but, on the other hand, from then on he could get nowhere as close to perfection as on this release. Much deeper than previous lp's; oniric soundscapes create unique atmosphere which cannot be heard anywhere else. Would love to hear "Consumed part 2"; instead of it Plastikman turned 'plastic' in sound...
Excellent. Very minimalistic grooves with dubby & slightly dark athmospheres. Sounds and noises appear and disappear slowly during running time of the tracks. Sometimes I have an assoziation to Chain Reaction. This one is the most advanced Richie Hawtin I know at the moment.
