Krakpot and Electrostatik: Two absolute gems of records. this is the very best of Hawtin's early work.

These are two eight+ minutes acid monsters that bend, twist and build-up for almost the entire track.

krakpot is more pure acid, Electrostatik sounds a bit more held-back, not quite sure how to explain this. The track just sounds electric, like sparks are flying off, right into y'r ears

Acid the way it should be, this one. This vinyl has dark after hours written all over it.

The evolving atmosphere in this is something incredible. Considering that most acid tracks are pretty boring due to so few different elements this record is totally rocking, especially the title track which is by far the best track from Richie Hawtin's Plastikman project. Over 11 minutes of pure acid lust and not boring for once. A perfect track where as the B-side wonder Elektrostatik is more lush, slower and almost chilled out four on the four acid experience, still cracking it up for it's hypnotic braindrilling melody.

Lektrostatik is without a doubt one of the best acid tracks around. Excellent build, supreme use of minimal acid yet remaining powerfull troughout the track.
The combination of acid & rolling percussion get's you in a phrenetic frenzie & it's very hard not to move to this hypnotizin record.

Dirty, dirty acid house from the modern day master of it !!
Krakpot builds into a rumbling, bubble of an acid monster.
