A classic by the Pleiadians on the classic Flying Rhino Records! Both tracks are pretty much ahead of their times, or at least they provide a head first dive into a massive world of wicked psychedelia. "Jungle Trax" packs a special punch, especially with that sensation of the tempo suddenly rising, and the melody gaining in velocity prior to the climax. "Zeta Reticuli" is a thirteen plus minutes voyage, full of ups and downs, melodies, tweaking sounds and distortions and a great Jim Morisson sample. I have to admit it took me quite a while to appreciate it, as it's a tune like no other they've produced. May I say it takes more focus to really assimilate all it has to offer. Now, anno 2007, it sounds better than ever! Its constructive and complex production and strucutre now, more than ever, really make one realize how far ahead were these four italians, and how absolutely nobody had the balls or the talent to follow or challenge. A great EP by one of the finest collectives ever.
