Polarius - Jams In The Key Of Smack

The audioquality of this 12" is unfortunately a bit poor. By accident I have it twice and on both copies it's the same. I don't think that the plenty of tracks on each side is the reason for that. It more sounds like bad recording equipment/technique. Maybe these tracks are some early recordings from his archive? I don't know... but it's a great pity because some of the tracks are really nice!

I know its cool to be all ghetto detroit and press 4 songs on side for the added lo-fi effect. But why not take out the crap songs and have a better pressing for the good songs? Urrrrg! That aside it is a great release of late 80s early 90s inspired ghettohousetechnofunk.
