When AM:PM decided to remix some classic A&M songs in the mid-1990s, I'm sure that record executives were bouncing off the walls when they heard these mixes for the first time. My personal fave here is what is, for me, one of Roger Sanchez's best mixes EVER - his Underground Voices mix. Words don't do this song justice - just listen to it. 120 bpm, 7.5 minutes of house utopia. Plus his Classic & Loft mixes would appear to rock fans since they feature more of Andy Summers' guitar. Ashley Beedle's 2-part mix also is a sonic masterpiece, and the 8AM Rulin mix is probably the most faithful to the original. Only the E-Smoove mix is a disappointment - just a bunch of recycled riffs and beats. Still, this purchase is vital for house heads.
