I can't really hear what (if anything) FSOL kept of the original but they've added a great deal - a thundering break, emotive synths and err... owl samples. When this came out originally I bought the 12" which has both the Deep Field & Stateside mixes (and a lovely poster of Prefab Sprout too), recently, as I've been trying to get as much as possible of my vinyl collection on CD I picked up this CD single very reasonably - I recommend it highly - plus it has a classic Prefab Sprout on at the end too, perfect for the i-Pod!
