Here, Kevin Martin, known for his work as The Bug as well as a member of Techno Animal, Curse of the Golden Vampire, God, and Ice, tries his hand at the dubstep sound. Assisted by the consistent and solid Warrior Queen, "Money Honey" doesn't sound a whole lot like other artists on the Hyperdub roster, but still manages to fit in well enough. The remix applies the dancehall sound of The Bug, albeit a surprisingly subdued one, to the original's formula. I would have appreciated a proper distorted ragga assault here, but perhaps that would have undermined the purpose of Martin using a brand new pseudonym.

This has all the hallmarks of a Kevin Martin, AKA The Bug, production or at least to me it does. When I first put it on I had it on at 33 and the original version seems to take on a far more manacing characteristic than playing it at the correct 45. I prefer the remix at 45, though it still doesn't sound quite right to me, it feels a bit too quick and the vocals are almost taking on that chipmonk sound. All in all either way the orginal's better than the remix.
