Did you ever trapped yourself playing the same cd over and over again after a hard day of work, long night out or anything else? I did, and I still enjoy this album very much. Deep and underwater soundscapes with floating, dubby basslines. Incredible high tones and good sound structures on every single track.
Very highly recommerced!

The Orb used to create music I would term "epic ambient". Okay, there were others that did very long ambient pieces, but rarely would they shift around, develop and stay interesting as does "Blue Room".
Pub takes up the crown! Okay, you won't find much in the way of melodies here (and certainly no samples of fake telephone calls! ;), but all of the tracks here are very nice, long "Summer"-esque pieces, without beats. They continually develop and morph as they go on, and in the case of Kamikaze (the only track with drums), build to a massive climax and fall gracefully away. And to close, Better Never, which must be some of the most beautiful dronage committed to CD, full stop (well, alright. "In The Meantime" on Pantomime is even better, but it's close).
This being PUB's second album, I could say album, although it's called 'Single' it isn't.
Called that as it is Primarily a collection of their Singles on the great Ampoule label. This is a great album for those nights in with yourself & for people with a simple attitude to life.
It makes you think that it's not all bad out there and that your mind can be a nice place to be every now & then!
Moving Stuff!! Check out 'Better Never'...Beautiful!
Very highly recommerced!
