referencing Iron Shirt / Let There Be Light, 12", QEM001

I think "Iron Shirt" was an attempt at backlashing Prodigy's "Outta Space". Or maybe The Qemists wanted to educate the crowd that there are more lyrics to the universally recognizeable "I'm gonna send him to outta space, to find another race." That's right! Alone, that phrase means nothing. Send who to outta space? The Qemists answer that question by releasing this epic drum and bass rock-out tune with the lyrics that precede that chorus: "I'm gonna put on an iron shirt, and chase the devil out of earth." Now you get it? And it was originally sung by Max Romeo. Find it and listen to it. It's a good song that's been raped for years by DJs.

Anyway, this is a good song. Thumping fast breakbeats with guitar and an awesome sample. Epic tune.

"Let There Be Light" is pretty good too. Done in the similar epic style with minimal beats and lots of guitar. Not as good, but still good in its own right. There's a great monologue in the beginning that makes it a pretty good track to open up a set with.
