For good or bad; this record was massive and would not go away until eventually. It found its way into stadium playlist anthems and jock jams.
A patient record that took at least a year from initial launch. To launching a sound with its second life through licensing and re-licensing. One of the early hit records of the then emerging Belgian Techno sound which, along with things like Anesthesia (also by Abbeloos and Foort), Senses, etc broke the dead horse that was the by then painful new beat sound and buried it.

And this from the guys that later made freaky disco/drum workouts via their Holographic label.

The main sound of the theme of "Quadrophonia" was sampled from the intro of "16 bit": "Changing Minds".
The rest is a mixture quite innovative even if you can hear a "808 State" influence in it.
Like Lucien Foort said in a MTV interview in 1990:
"We try to make a different kind of music with all sorts of aspects soul, hip hop, techno, new beat"...
It was a hit and that was amazing because at the time there where no sounds like that in tv or radio.
I think that "Quadrophonia" was one of the records that launched the Hardcore-Breakbeat era.
