Beware of trains: Stop, look and listen: This VHS EP assembles four of the five promo video releases for "The Miracle" album onto a VHS - although the title track itself was curiously omitted.
A few comments and notes lifted from the "Greatest Flix II" booklet:
1. "Filmed at Elstree Studios in April 1989, this performance video featured 16 Xenon Super Trouper spot lights, more than had ever been assembled under one roof, and twelve 50 foot high 'Dino' light stands normally used to light football pitches." Donning shirts and ties, the band thus seldom looked better!
2. "The beat of the song suggested a train, so naturally the private 'Nene Valley' railway in Cambridgeshire was commandeered on a hot June day in 1989, and the Miracle Express steamed into action." Great pop song, fun video.
3. "Filmed at Pinewood Studios in July 1989, computer graphics were employed yet again as the band became the characters of a computer game come to life." Queen hardly ever take themselves seriously...
4. Another performance video, and one of their best - on a stage resembling tabloids as the band delivers their scathing response to the general media's treatment of Brian's divorce and concerns about Freddie's state of health. Hmmm!
