For once an extremely limited CD-R has some good music on it. On this split release Quinoline Yellow represents SKAM and Duplo Remote represents FatCat Records. First off FatCat. I hadn’t heard of Duplo Remote before this release, and with good reason because it looks like he doesn’t even has one release to his name. Antenna Gimp (Synchro Lob Rate) and Boolean Breaks are decent tracks but Lyaomdo-0044 is a beautifully constructed ambient masterpiece. Okay on to SKAM now. If you know Quinoline Yellow then you know Luke Williams is going to tear it up and indeed he does. He experiments with sound on Uncle Salty's Auction, and lies down a classic old school track Dug Pan Insul. Hexamine 239 is in the same vein as Cyriack Parasol and won’t disappoint. Looks like this won’t see a proper release considering its a Japanese only Promo. That’s too bad because there are some classic tracks not to be passed up here.
