Ragga Twins, The - Hooligan 69

A pioneering breakbeat/bleep track utilising the Prince 'Dearly Beloved...' sample much used since, over trademark SUAD roughly-looped beats. The only question is: is the remix even better? Both versions epitomise the burgeoning hardcore scene of the very early 90s, and the ragga vocals give a very early glimpse of how one element of hardcore would become jungle a couple of years later. Indicative of just how pioneering Shut up and Dance was as a label. Pure class.
