Recloose - Cardiology

For one reason or another i never got happy with this album .Bought last spring , now i sold it on ebay for a reasonable price and yesterday i recorded it to my Hard Disc . Something wasn't very right the first time , so i decided to record it another time - and know what : by the second listening session , suddenly i started to dig this record ! I mean i always found it cool and adventurous , but not really Techno . More like a great Jazz-Rock LP from Weather Report etc.. Very forward orientated ,though using very simple melodies and themes . There's even a fine vocal- reggae song used in one track , way back in the mix . Each Track has it's own secret . Lots of guests helped out - From Detroit : Jerry the Cat on Percussion on "Ain't Changing" + "Cardiology", Paul Randolph played bass (Up and Up) and John Arnold guitar( M.I.A).. More people helped out singing and playing Saxophone . Matt Chicoine = Recloose knows how to use his talents , possibilities and connections .This music got a vision , which makes it fit perfectly on both labels Planet E and Studio !k7
