'I got sunshiiiine...' the original "Lean" is an hypnotic, lascivious and slightly sleazy piece of late-night deep house, like a lesser-known cousin to Brooks' semi-classic "Clix" on the same label, and even better. The super-hooky low-key electronic bassline is to die for, and the elegant spacey jazz trumpet incursion comes as a nice refreshment in the middle of this dark and sweaty climate. Night weapon here.
