I was so pumped when I saw Hawtin's name big and bold on that covermount CD. This was probably a smart move on the part of Mixmag, right in the middle of the mimimal house and techno fad.

This is surprisingly good for a Mixmag comp, and for Hawtin it shows a move away from the super-sparse treble-heavy atmosphere of DE9: Transitions. People could actually dance to this. Key tracks here are Intimacy Girl (remixed by the sadly overlooked Someone Else) and 25 Bitches (a funky rework by M_nus standby Jon Gaiser).

The title is a bit misleading though— as far as I can tell, there's no cut'n'paste business here.
