Agree totally with restless May 28, 2011 - sure-fire classic in the making...
"About Fourteen" is a deep-house gem, in the old Chicago tradition, with delicate piano licks, gentle pads, cool and groovy electronic bassline, and a soulfully lamenting male voice. A discreet, elegant and soulful record that continues the tradition of deep, elevating dancefloor melancholia a la Larry Heard with Robert Owens. The work of a true house artisan.
