Both tracks are classics that were played at the legendary & hugely influential Loft club in New York and are taken from David Mancuso's fantastic 2 compilations (also available on Nuphonic). The Risco Connection track is instantly recognisable and has been reinterpretated by a number of classic Black Soulful Groups. This version has the most beautiful strings in the world, stunning Soul music. The Joe Gibbs track on the b side is one hell of a Dub track with the heaviest most awesome baseline that you would hear, which would put most dance music tracks to shame - proper bass heavy grooves!
