And that's as it should be, Young Henry Smithson has been making moves in underground circles for quite some time now, first on Grand Central and now on Modular, the label who just released his Eine Kleine Nacht Musik album to huge critical acclaim. Sensibly enough, Henry has decided to include his new version of Vivaldi's classic 'La Serrenisma' here as a taster should you wish to investigate further. But the main theme of the mix is Warehouse, which, given that this is a CD that celebrates all things Warehouse Project (Mixmag's Club Of The Year 2007), is probably a good thing. So if you're planning on visiting Manchester to see Aphex Twin, Sven Vath or indeed Riton over the next few months, this is the perfect soundtrack for your plane, train or indeed automobile adventure. From Hercules And Love Affair to Crookers and Herve, this is the dark and sweaty sound of 2008 on handy CD. And where would we be without 'LFO'?
