referencing Get On The Dance Floor, 12", SUPET 139

One of the first Dance records to really register with me since it got into the U.K. top 20. I especially liked the electronic riff that appears at the start and after he says 'get on the dancefloor'. This sound was subsequently used a lot in U.K. Hardcore Rave records. Did Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock invent this sound for this track or did they get it from somewhere else?
