"Show Me Love" Is just Out of control! Out here in SF california You can play this at any party and watch people's eyes light up. They all love this song but don't know who it's by and can't find it. When those Korg M-1 organs drop everybody hits the floor ... And then when Robin comes in like "aaaAAAAHHHHHWHoahoahoaHoho! Yeah yeah!" Little hearts slip out from everybodies skin and float around the room. People are Jacking and smiling ear to ear.. DJ's Need this record. Your gonna wanna play the Stonebridge club mix. The "New club mix" takes too long to drop and spoils the surprise, there is too much time between the M-1 organ drop and the first vocals. The "Nick Nice Eagle mix" has a completely different melody which doesn't make sense since every one loves this song for it's great synth line. I could see the "old school mix" working at some parties where the crowd already knows this song really well and wants something new. It keeps the melody but uses an 80's chicago house sounding bass synth (not acid sorry). Just play the "Stonebridge Mix" it's the strongest mix. One of the mixes ends with an accapella skat loop from Robin. "Do do DO do Do do DO da da da" Wich some people have sampled. For more... Partyeffects.Biz

On a more serious note I do love this tune. Stonebridge know how to do pop-house, just give them the vocal and off they go. Great intro that rides on the cusp and then kicks on.

This release is one of the biggest hits to date for Swedish producer Stonebridge, born in Stockholm on 02/07/1961. He founded Swemix (swedish version of DMC) in 1986. He used a Korg M1 synthesiser to create that typical sound in 'Show Me Love', a sound that was copied many times after that.
