A transparent attempt to stay current with music trends and re-enter the North American market, Robyn finds herself a good producer (1/4 of Sweden's Teddybears) but fails to make the songs sound authentic to the electro/synth-pop genres. In what feels like a boardroom formulated album, Robyn struggles to sound witty while rapping (badly) and fails at channeling the hottest blonde, genre-hopping, beat hustler Gwen Steffani (whose "harajuku girls"-tongue in cheekiness is blatantly referenced for "konichiwa bitches" uber lameness), whom I am sure must have been the biggest thing when this album was being pieced together from the throwaway scraps of actual talented producers & writers.

Expect to hear more from Robyn in 2017, when she tries again for the third time (maybe with the then hottest thing, epic-deep reggaetalo-core breaks).
