This was a release that i had been looking forward to for a longtime, and the wait was welll worth it. Roni shows us once again just how beats and basslines should be crafted together and the tracklist features many tunz that have been massive hits in the clubs. The mixing is flawless (nothing less then you'd expect from roni) and the tunz blend from 1 to another so well its as if the whole album was created as 1 tune and not 16 mixed together. This CD should be played on nothing less then full volume. Heres hoping Roni's next poject isn't to far away. Full cycle & V recordings forver baby.
Roni Size's album 'Touching Down' has some brighter moments, but also has some bad ones. 'Sound Advice' is one of the brighter moments. The singles, and a few other tracks, are good. However, the majority of the CD are just filler. They essentially all have the same bassline, just with a little knob twiddling. This album is alright, but Roni Size could have done a lot more work on this.
