Roy Davis Jr. & Mike Edge - Thoughts Of You

Nice (live?) hand drums give this record a summery feel throughout. it's definitely a deep house record, but it's low in diva content. A2 made me particularly happy. A2 just has a short vocal sample that gets used a lot, but the song creates a great uplifting mood. THIS is house. it's a celebration of music, a celebration of humanity, a celebration of happiness. the tone of the song is so perfect that it's easy to overlook the slight hints of cheese. i'm rating this a 5, just because the times when i would want to play this would be very good times indeed.
