What a mixed bag. A little bit of everything here but all in the cosmic disco area.
-Afrika- is a downtempo disco rework of the Toto track. Dub effects and delay-loaded like many other tracks on this album.
-Til Lippo Lippa- sounds like a cheesy radio pop track from the 80's, but you have to understand some of the humor Lindbæk can inject in his tracks. The track is kinda stripped for disco, but has guitar, drums, synts and a vocal like any other pop band.
-Kodek- is a bongo inspired campfire song. Bongo bongo bongo all the way. can't describe it more.
-ArthiParti- Might be the most craziest shit on here. Old blaxploitation sampling music that turns all Bollywood in the end into some Hindu-banghra wacky-vocals. Porn music anyone?
-Franz Tranz- brings us more close to the New York disco sounds. Great track in typical Lindbæk style. Quite uplifting with dub effects to tweak it around.
Same goes for -Dum Dum Delay- An instrumental hand-clap ridden disco cut with plenty of (you guessed it) delays.
-Pushwagner- is a up-tempo western fueled track that sounds like it has been recorded in a garage. With Norwegian lyrics to make it exciting for us nordic polarheads, Funny stuff.
-Soper Star-.. I Won't get into detail what a Soper is (try and guess), but this track has recieved the coolest name on the album. Again a little New York with shuffle beats, horns and strings. The boogie song of the whole Lp.
Then it finishes off with a old library outro.. Well, This is without a doubt Runes most humorous music yet so far. But it is very enjoyable to listen to. I just loves this man!!!
Mordi!!
