A little housier than Scuba's "Feel It", SCB's "Loss" is another foray of Paul Ross into retrofuturistic rave territories, and another great success in his attempt. The anthemic qualities of the track are obvious, the obsessive/abstract girls' voice snippets perfectly treated, the dramatic intensity variations very well dosed, the epic synth pads are spectacular/dramatical like back in the days (somewhere near Slam's "Eterna"), and the crackling vinyl effect all through the track adds a little strangeness as anyone can get that the production underneath is perfectly and powerfully 2011. Another quality underground hit then.
