This is stomping, uplifting hardcore techno at it's peak. Slipmatt lead the field with this stuff, pioneering the crossover from old skool and hardcore techno to happy hardcore.
While being very generic, a satisfying trait in any case, each cut does have its own idiosyncrasies, providing a fantastic array of piano riffs, synth stabs and occasional vocals, all over pumping techno breakbeats.
Slipmatt named this project SlipMattDubs, and dubs they are. The sound is a consistent vibe, the tunes are interchangeable and are guaranteed to lift any DJ set - a very handy tool for those into hardcore.
10/10 stars, happy raving!
