CD1 The first few tracks mixed are perfect and seamless except differing from the Australian & UK versions at track three, barbarella, which is one of the best mixes on the album and works better in the mix, a good selection throughout keeping the set & effects full and unconventional.

CD2 starts with a really good use of effects over narcotic which after a really dark intro loses track and goes downhill at the first mix, the over use of effects processing on track two into three becomes too apparent and chases to the point of annoyance which continues throughout the mix, although the track selection and mixing is again flawless the mix points are dead end mixes (e.g. force 51 into ruhe) leaving the set sounding inexpressive and incomplete.

An average mix with a fine track selection, worth buying the US release for CD1.

Well I have to say that upon first listening to this album I was very dissapointed. And to some extent, I still am (though I can appreciate it for what it is). Two world class DJ's releasing a double mix cd? Sounds great Especially considering that these are the two Dj's responsible for the excellent (and near perfect) Northern Exposure Series.

Basically if you are expecting some excellent music such as was displayed in the NE Series, you won't find it here.

CD 1 starts out nice, deep and trance-y and then keeps getting deeper, stripped of almost all melody the music chugs along until Slacker's remix of Bedrock's "Voices" arrives. Things start to pick up - this track has a pretty cool baseline and I like it better than the original version of "Voices". Slacker's "Fusion" takes the mix in the right direction again, losing the repetitive progressive vibe and going towards (but not quite there) more melodic music. The next few tracks are fairly average but then Breeder (as usual) has an excellent track: a Slacker remix of their ambient-ish "Tyrantanic".

The CD comes to a close with a Bedrock remix of Luzon's "The Baguio Track" which could have been such a good way to close this cd but sadly, isn't.

CD 2 has a more constant vibe to it, rather than the ups and downs of CD 1 it starts out minimal and stays that way up until the end. This is probably my favourite of the two, it sounds very trippy at times and has a few good tracks but nothing that stands out.

Overall a dissapointing effort from 2 excellent Dj's. I think Sasha worked on the first disc whilst Digweed worked on the second but am not sure about that (it sounds that way anyhow).

Such a fantastic mix. Starts off real deep on CD1, building up to "Fusion" by Slacker which is almost too good. It then goes off and does all sorts of funky crazy stuff (Trisco's "Muzak" sums this up well). It gets impossibly uplifting by the time "Tyrantanic" drops, and then Luzon calm things down a bit.

CD2 starts off twisted but melodic, and generally carries on like it. Utterly mesmeric. I find it hard to beleive that people don't like Sasha and Diggers when they do stuff like this. This will still sounds like the future in about 5 years.
