Danny Howells inspires fanaticism among his leagues of followers--after you listen to these two laidback gems, you'll probably understand why. His collaboration with Dick Trevor has turned out quite a few gems pushed on a regular basis by Bedrock bigshots, most notably Digweed on the Bedrock 01 compilation. Persuasion is the harsher and more progressive of the two, not letting up for a second, while Repercussion dillutes a steady, almost understated baseline into meandering synths. Neither are real crowd-movers unless you ante up to the 138-140 bpm range, but both are ideal to wind down a smooth progressive set with.
