I really dig Scorn. From Collosus onwards, i have always been impressed with Mick Harris' ability to clutch onto a groove and do amazing, dark and subtle things with it. List of Takers is one continuous live mix, and it really, really rocks. It grinds along, pulling beats and bass from all over his discography and plastering it all together with a range of new sounds as well to create a juggernaut so powerful, it's entrancing. I listened to it in the car the other day and caught myself bobbing my head several times and the beats and bass seemed to be driving the car themselves. I suppose there is risk to driving to something so all consuming, but it really fits. I got the limited edition more by chance, but the regular edition is the same as far as I know, and i would recommend you try and hunt this down if you can, as it is well worth it. Most comparable to Plan B and Stealth, but invokes older, and often overlooked releases like Loggi Bahroggi as well.
