Straight up New York Boom Bap Hip Hop.
Laid out over great beats/production by DJ Premier, Godfather Don, Ayatollah and The Beatnuts amongst others, group members Poet (b/k/a Blaq Poet), Hostyle, K.L (AKA Kamakazee (R.I.P)) and Kyron, share their lifetime experiences, views and commentaries on day to day living in the largest housing projects in the world, Queensbridge (NY). All 4 MC's have a history in Hip Hop and are above average and capable in their own rights, testament being that after this album was released DJ Premier (Gang Starr) signed Blaq Poet to be his flagship artist on his own Year Round label. However, for the album they also recruited guest spots from NY indie Hip Hop illuminati Kool G. Rap, M.O.P, Cormega and Tragedy Khadafi who all lend their considerable talents to this alreay great album.

A real heavyweight album for those that "fiend" for Golden Era Hip Hop, not to be missed.
