I agree with previous reviewer, Shedding the past is one of the best albums of 2008!
Deep and awesome electronics with a Detroit flavour. Really nice sound design in the Berlin vein. IHTAW is a perfect opener for a DJ session, with those evocative vocals.
A sure winner!
It has a sense of whole self contained statement, which most electronic releases in album format lack. I'll say that the only common factor between songs is the evocative feeling, which makes the album sound as a whole althought styles range from techno beats to more break-oriented beats.

'Shedding The Past' is the soundtrack of the past, the present and the future - it is simply timeless with it's interesting sound arrangement, composition and live, direct feel. The energy from both the Berghain and Ostgut Tonträger is present in every track.

If you are looking for a good release of uncompromising, truthful and innovative music you have a real something here. Shed has a unique sound, that is really inspirational and simply breath-taking.

One of the best albums of 2008!
